Designed to engage and challenge passionate learners, these programs are built to meet the needs of gifted and talented students by providing opportunities to develop the knowledge, skills and motivation required to excel in their area of talent.
Ignite Excellence: Music听
This听is an excellence program in Music at 麻豆传媒映画出品 offering a unique partnership between the curriculum subject and 麻豆传媒映画出品 Arts Academy. The program can also offer opportunities for acceleration for some students. As part of the Ignite Music program, students complete three years of specialised classes from yr 7-9, including learning a second instrument, completing a minimum of Australian Music Examination Board Grade 2 Theory of Music and dedicated classes and extension workshops aimed at challenging their individual talents.
Ignite Excellence: Dance Development
Any Year 7, 8 or 9 students attending the College who is听interested in extending their dance skills in a supportive听environment, whilst also developing a broader understanding听of body care, artistry and management skills can apply for the Dance Development Program. Students participating听in the opportunity, would also undertake Dance as an elective subject, to extend their choreographic and performance skill development in the classroom.
